“The briar root is hard and misshapen. It usually comes out with many cracks and it takes skill and patience to extract works of art like this. Even with the high risk of the wood splitting and losing the piece, it is the most I like to work. This wood is a beauty.”
Heather is a very branched, leafy and evergreen shrub that in the Canary Islands can reach lengths of 15mt. Its reddish roots are very elegant and provide vitality and warmth to the room where the piece is displayed.
It combines very well with all kinds of light colors and indigo.
